Tim Shisler is a freelance multimedia journalist based in Boulder, Colo., who has hoisted as well as dropped video cameras, spent hours in an editing bay, and precariously clung to a cliff for the perfect opening shot. Tim has produced online content for a variety of publications, including Backpacker Magazine, Bicycling Magazine and Mountain Bike Magazine while also writing a weekly new media column for Written Road.  Tim previously worked in Silicon Valley during the height of the second-wave tech boom and has seen firsthand how technology can enhance the way information is distributed and consumed.
